Dr. Marielle Lazard left Haiti, her home country, in 1988 to come live in Orlando, Florida with her family. She attended the University of South Florida in Tampa where she obtained a Bachelor of Sciences degree in 1995. She graduated from Tulane Medical School in New Orleans, Louisiana and remained there to complete her residency in internal medicine. In 2007, she completed a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the University of South Florida.
Dr. Lazard is licensed to practice in Florida and is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. She practices in our offices in DeLand and Orange City and is on staff at Florida Hospital-Deland and Florida Hospital – Fish Memorial in Orange City.
Dr. Lazard joined the practice in 2007. She is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Cardiology and the Association of Black Cardiologists.
Dr. Lazard is fluent in Creole, French, Spanish and English and enjoys swimming, reading, traveling, and dancing.
